Directions

 

Gryphon's Nest Campground is located at 19306 Bull Run Rd., Springfield, LA 70462.  Don't rely on MapQuest or your GPS systems-they never get it right!  Also when you get closer to the campground you may lose phone signal!  Visit www.gryphonsnestcampground.com to learn more.

 

1. Coming from the WEST (Texas...etc)-Follow I-10 E into Louisiana. Once you get to BATON ROUGE, merge  onto I-12 E via exit 159 (exit is to the left) towards HAMMOND. Follow I-12 E for approximately 22.5 miles. Take the LA-63 exit, Exit 22, toward LIVINGSTON/FROST. Turn right onto LA-63/FROST ROAD (You will see the Continental Kennel Club to your right). Follow LA-63 for 5 miles. You will come to a 4-way stop. Continue on for an addiional 5 miles. Once you get to LA-444, turn left. (You will see a small convenience store-Best Stop- to your right) Drive on LA-444 for 5 miles. Turn right onto BULL RUN ROAD look for stensils on telephone poles- people keep steeling the street signs. We are the first driveway on the left. You will see a sign with red lettering-identifying GRYPHONS NEST CAMPGROUND.*****ONCE YOU REACH LA-63/FROST ROAD YOU'RE ALMOST THERE! PLEASE LOOK FOR THE LANDMARKS MENTIONED ABOVE OR CALL IF YOU GET LOST*****

 

2. Coming from the NEW ORLEANS area - Follow 1-10 W toward LaPlace. Merge right onto I-55 N toward HAMMOND. Follow 1-55 N for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 29B/BR onto 1-12 W and drive 15. 5 miles, take exit 22. Turn left onto FROST ROAD/LA- 63. Follow LA-63 for approximately 10 miles. Once you reach LA-444, turn left. Drive 5 miles, then turn right onto BULL RUN ROAD. We are the first driveway on the left.

 

3. Coming from the Jackson, Mississippi area - Take US 51 S to I-55 S. Drive 128 miles, take exit 29 B/ Baton Rouge onto 1-12 W. Drive 15 miles and then take exit 22. Turn left onto FROST ROAD/LA-63. Follow LA-63 for 10 miles. Turn left onto LA-444. Drive 5 miles and turn right onto BULL RUN ROAD. We are the first driveway on the left.

 

4. Coming from the East Gulfport area- Take US 49 N to I-10 W toward NEW ORLEANS. Drive 40 miles. Take exit 267 AB/ HAMMOND/BATON ROUGE/HATTIESBURG. Drive 0.2 miles. Take the left fork onto I-12 W toward HAMMOND/BATON ROUGE. Drive 63 miles. Take exit 22- FROST/LIVINGSTON. Turn left onto LA-63/FROST ROAD. Follow LA-63 for 10 miles. Once you reach LA-444, turn left. Drive another 5 miles. Turn right onto BULL RUN ROAD. We are the first driveway on the left.
