The 2022 planning committee is proud to announce that tickets for our event this year are on sale! The Wyld Fire Beltane Hunt is slated for April 28th to May 1st, 2022 at Gryphon's Nest Campground in Springfield, Louisiana. For four days and three nights, escape work and the stresses of your life. Reconnect to the land and celebrate one of the oldest Spring holidays in the world! The centerpiece of our festival is The Hunt, where attendees compete to be crowned the Oak King, and our disguised May Queen is revealed!
Classes range from magickal topics, healing rituals, nature connection, crafting, divination, and couples techniques and are offered by experienced practitioners from around the Gulf. Performances, ritual, swimming, drumming, and dancing are also slated. One of our special guests this year will be Laura Zakroff, author of Sigil Witchery, We Are Aradia ritualist, and Tempest and Nathaniel Johnstone (bellydance/musical duo). We are looking for more talent to add to our festival! If you have expertise you'd like to share in a class, performance, or you'd like to be a vendor, please reach out to us! Early bird ticket prices are good until February 15th, so get your tickets soon before prices go up! Tickets purchased for the 2020 and 2021 festival will automatically roll over to this year's event, with our greatest thanks to attendees who supported us and knew they would come back to The Nest! As per the policy of the campground owner, all attendees must be fully vaccinated by April 15th to be allowed entry. You can check out our policies around Covid here.
