From all of us at New Orleans Lamplight Circle, we want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season and a completely new year... with very little of the old year lingering. As we emerge into 2021 with hope invested in the coronavirus vaccine, we have seen a surging interest in the 2021 Wyld Fire Hunt. As of right now, we are planning for a limited festival at the end of April at Gryphon's Nest, with a weather eye on Covid infection rates and the governor's orders.
We are calling for volunteers to help us create an exceptional event, worthy of Beltane and our goal of community building. Artists, performers (fire dancing, belly dancing, hooping, aerialists, musical acts, dj's, etc.), teachers, vendors, networkers, and event volunteers are needed to bring Beltane to life. If you want to contribute your talents and skills to a worthy cause, consider helping us.
We hope to publish more updates in January. As of now, we are working quietly to bring the festival roaring back to life, with new precautions in place for everyone's protection. We ask that you get the word out, and help us resurrect the Beltane hunt after a sequestered year without the strength of our Pagan community.
